Glass Pool Fence Installation Melbourne
Spigot Factory supplies and installs frameless glass pool fencing across Melbourne and surrounding areas. We can also assess custom glass, custom spigots and glass balustrade enquiries. Additional travel charges may apply outside our usual service area.
What our installation quote includes
Standard frameless pool fencing is quoted by the metre and includes materials, delivery and installation. There is no minimum fence length. Our standard pool fence panels are 12mm thick toughened glass, 1200mm high. EnduroShield glass is available for an additional upgrade fee.
Soft-close glass pool gates
Soft-close gates are our default for new installations. Each gate adds $500 + GST ($550 including GST) to the fence quotation for the gate materials and installation. This new-gate package includes a 5-year hinge warranty. Your quotation confirms the selected hardware and scope.
Installation on concrete paving and decking
- Concrete and paved areas: core-drilled installation is our usual method, subject to assessment of the supporting concrete and site conditions.
- Timber decking: base-plate spigots are used with suitable structural support underneath. Extra widening or reinforcement may be required.
- Soil: suitable concrete footings must be prepared before installation.
We can quote for reinforcement and footing work, or the owner can arrange it. If you arrange this work yourself, please confirm our installation requirements before starting.
When additional charges may apply
Very short fence runs, uneven ground, decking reinforcement, footing work, removal of old fencing, carrying glass to an upper or lower level, EnduroShield upgrades and other unusual site conditions may require additional charges. We can dismantle old fencing; rubbish removal and disposal are not included.
Free quotes and final measurement
For an accurate initial quote, please send photos from several angles, approximate fence lengths and the site address. Once you accept the quote, we arrange a free site measurement in Melbourne and surrounding areas.
Allow approximately one week to book. A typical installation takes 1–2 days, depending on the project and site conditions; we confirm availability when scheduling.
Deposit and balance
A 50% deposit secures your installation date and material order. The balance is due on the day installation is completed.
Certificates and inspection support
We provide relevant Australian Standards certificates for the glass and hardware supplied, together with a Glass Pool Safety Barrier Installation Statement for our installation. Product certificates relate to the products they cover; they do not certify unrelated parts of the property.
If an inspector identifies a correction relating to our fencing work, we will rectify it at no charge. We can also assist with work outside the fence scope, for an additional charge agreed with you.
Warranty
Our express warranty is 6 months for installation, repairs, glass and spigots. Hinges have a standard 3-year warranty, with a 5-year upgrade available. The new soft-close gate package described on our installation page includes a 5-year hinge warranty; your quotation confirms the applicable package and coverage.
Damage caused by ground settlement or keeping a gate propped open for extended periods is not covered by this express warranty. Contact us with your order or job details and photos so we can assess the cause and appropriate remedy.
These express warranties are additional to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing here excludes, restricts or replaces consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your consumer guarantee rights may continue beyond an express warranty period.
